At the end of the semester, your team must give a 5-10 minute presentation of your website to the class. You will make a short slide show and also show your website to the audience in real time to demonstrate how it works.
Assignment Credit Requirements
Your presentation must include (you may combine some items onto the same slide or cover topics orally without a visual if needed):
- [ ] 10 slides or fewer
- [ ] A combination of text and images in a consistent theme
- [ ] Up to 8 minutes of presenting (aim for 5 minutes) (you will be cut off at 8 minutes, so practice)
- [ ] The voices of all team members (everyone must speak at least a little bit)
- [ ] Title slide
- [ ] Roadmap/agenda for presentation
- [ ] Team member names
- [ ] Company name and description
- [ ] Description of primary users
- [ ] Description of secondary users
- [ ] Description of at least one key use case
- [ ] Demonstration (by going to your actual website) of at least one specific path or journey a user would take through your site (should be one of the three main tasks your user can accomplish)
- [ ] Description of 1-3 of the most successful features of your site (the best decisions you made or the best outcomes)
- [ ] Description of 1-3 improvements you would make to the site if you were to continue working on it
- [ ] OPTIONAL: Explanation of your process and issues you had to overcome with WordPress
- [ ] Concluding statement and final “thank you” slide that includes your contact information (write down and memorize your ending line; you must make it clear that the presentation is done and not just shuffle away with an awkward “thank you”)

💡 IMPORTANT: Do not cram a bunch of text onto a single slide anywhere in your presentation. Your slides should complement what you are saying. You can use a script. Please do not read text off the slide. No one wants to read the slides. They are listening to you and want to get to the demonstration as swiftly as possible.
